Located in Urla, Izmir, Long Life Villas is a boutique residential development comprising four independent homes arranged in two semi-detached villa blocks. MG Architecture & Interiors was responsible for the architectural design, interior design, construction and site coordination of the project. The concept was developed to preserve the privacy and independence of each residence while allowing the homes to benefit from the shared advantages of a small-scale residential community. A single-tone ceramic cladding was used across the façades to emphasize the monolithic character of the villas. The continuous material treatment, restrained geometry and carefully controlled openings create the impression of volumes carved from a single solid mass. Natural light and the relationship with the garden were central to the interior design. Large glazed openings and open-plan living spaces extend the interiors toward the outdoor areas, while the material palette and detailing continue the restrained architectural language of the exterior. Each villa has a long, narrow private swimming pool positioned as an extension of the garden and main living areas. This configuration provides a dedicated swimming area while preserving more usable garden space for other outdoor functions. Every residence also has its own entrance from the main road, private front, side and rear gardens, swimming pool and parking area. The layout supports independent daily living while allowing security, maintenance and shared infrastructure to be managed at the development level. Architectural and interior design decisions were developed together with the construction process. From material selections and custom-made elements to site coordination, the project was managed to maintain design continuity from the façade through to the interior details.
