MURATPAŞA PERFORMANCE CENTER
Muratpaşa Performance Center was designed not as a closed venue used only during scheduled events, but as an open and permeable cultural hub that remains connected to urban life throughout the day. Performance and event spaces, foyers and shared areas are organized around a central courtyard. Connecting circulation across different levels, the courtyard also brings natural light into the building and creates a social gathering space at the heart of the project. A semi-transparent secondary façade wraps the building, providing solar control while also shaping its architectural identity. During the day, the façade reads as a more uniform and restrained surface; at night, light from the interior reveals a more transparent and changing character. Generous foyers, terraces and continuous relationships with outdoor spaces allow the building to extend beyond the boundaries of a conventional performance venue, creating a public cultural destination that engages directly with its surroundings.
