Located in Kandilli, Istanbul, this private residence was designed around a continuous relationship between the main living spaces, materials and natural light. The living room, dining area and kitchen are connected through an open and fluid layout, while large glazed openings strengthen the connection between the interior and the outdoor spaces. The fireplace, timber wall panels, stone surfaces and custom-made furniture define the architectural character of the interiors. Lighting, built-in elements and material details were developed as part of the same design language, creating continuity across the different living areas. MG Architecture & Interiors was responsible for both the interior design and implementation of the project, allowing the design intent, material choices and detailing to be carried through consistently from concept to completion.
