The 300 m² VIP patient rooms at Istanbul Cerrahi Hospital were designed to combine the technical requirements of healthcare with a more private, comfortable and residential-style patient experience. The interior design was developed by MG Architecture & Interiors, with implementation planned to begin in the upcoming phase. Within the patient rooms, medical infrastructure, care requirements and technical equipment are integrated into a calmer and more refined spatial language. A custom-designed wall system behind the patient bed brings together lighting, bedside functions and medical equipment within a single composition, reducing the visual impact of technical elements. Light-toned finishes, natural timber textures, softly detailed built-in furniture and indirect lighting define the overall atmosphere of the rooms. Companion seating, storage solutions and personal-use areas were also planned to support comfort during longer stays. The project aims to meet the functional and hygienic requirements of VIP hospital rooms while creating a more private, reassuring and comfortable environment for both patients and accompanying family members.
