Doğanlar Social Facility was designed as an open and accessible public building where different age groups can come together and take part in everyday neighborhood life. A double-height entrance and transparent foyer at the center of the building create a strong visual connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding outdoor areas. Large glazed surfaces bring daylight deep into the building, while the social spaces and terraces on the upper floor support different patterns of use and a more direct relationship with the outdoors. Natural timber, anthracite metal and glass are combined across the façade to create a balanced material language with both warmth and a contemporary architectural character. Surrounded by landscape, the building extends beyond its enclosed spaces through an entrance plaza, terraces and open-use areas, functioning as a social gathering point throughout the day.
