The Çaycuma Sports Center offers a design approach that integrates contemporary architectural understanding with the local fabric, adding dynamism to the social and cultural life of the region. The project stands out with its dynamic mass composition featuring sharp lines. The black aluminum roof, gold metal-clad eaves, and large glass facades reinforce the contemporary and prestigious character of the building. This design, which brings daylight into the interior spaces in the most efficient way, prioritizes the principles of transparency and openness. The prominent observation tower creates plays of light throughout the day thanks to its perforated metal surface, while the yellow staircase system inside leads visitors to a panoramic viewing point. In the interior design, a warm and inviting atmosphere was created with natural materials. The spatial arrangement with wooden vertical panels and large openings offers flexible use for cultural events. The large staircase volume was designed to be both a functional circulation area and a focal point that encourages social interaction. The center was considered not just as a building, but as a living space integrated with the city. The stepped landscaping acts as an urban amphitheater guiding users towards the center, while green spaces enhance spatial comfort. With its contemporary architectural language and strong spatial design, the Çaycuma Sports Center is being realized as a cultural center integrated into urban life, focusing on art and people.
