Located in Bornova, Izmir, this 13,000 m² educational building was designed to bring middle school and high school functions together with shared social and multi-purpose spaces. Two main blocks containing classrooms and administrative areas are connected through a central volume that accommodates the common functions of the school. The large-span central structure provides flexible space for a multi-purpose hall, sports activities and social events. A transparent entrance façade and a generous forecourt clearly define the main arrival point while creating a shared outdoor area for gathering, waiting and school events. Natural tones, horizontal sun-shading elements and large glazed surfaces establish a warm and contemporary architectural language. Openings that bring daylight deep into the building, together with the continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces, support a bright, easy-to-navigate and student-focused learning environment.
